Live Update Frequency 🚀
There are now plan levels available with a new method of providing updates to your feed data. Live updates will keep your feed in sync with changes to your store data in real-time*
This new service level is available in the Plans section of your profile (or on request if you have an older profile).
Previously, we offered a standard service of a single update every 24 hours. Changes from your store database are fetched and updated in the app – and feeds are regenerated with the changes reflected.
For some businesses this is frequent enough for keeping channels informed of changes to product details and/ or availability. But if not we offer extra updates that run on a timed basis throughout a 24h hour period. At the time of writing this we offer – 3 hourly and 1 hour updates as timed updates.
We can now add to this Live Updates and this enables us to detect changes to product data from your store and respond by updating your feeds to reflect.
* There is a caveat to this in that we can only respond in absolute real time to a limited set of fields from your store (the full list of Shopify web-hook enabled fields provided at the end of this article).
But everything else is still kept in a virtual live state – updated every 15 minutes approximately.
This works by the fact that if there is any change to data in the store, either web-hook enabled fields or non a full update and feed regeneration is then queued to happen within the 15 minute time-frame.
